The Waffen-SS were among the most uncompromising and fanatical troops at the Third Reich’s disposal. Equipped with the best weaponry and vehicles the Waffen-SS units were a force to be reckon with and adopted extremely aggressive tactical doctrine.
We’re absolutely bowled over by the level of detail and the way Tom has replicated the camo pattern on smocks and helmet covers.He’s also managed to make snow effect look great too – not many gamers can achieve results like this and they’re a joy to behold. In addition to the troops , Tom has also applied his talents to our Sd.Kfz 251/1 halftracks. As you can see Tom is no slouch when it comes to the larger vehicles either.
Whew! Looking at such nicely painted miniatures makes our fingers itch for a paintbrush. Don’t worry though we’ll be bringing you more of Tom’s handiwork over the next 2-3 Warlord newsletters…
