Hot on the heels of the recently released Fallschirmjäger Pak 40 and MG42 HMG team there is more support dropping in to reinforce the ranks of the German Airborne! This week we bring you the Fallschirmjäger 81mm Mortar Team and the Fallschirmjäger Squad Pack.
Being paratroopers, Fallschirmjäger were always concerned about conserving weight with their equipment. One of the more successful modifications they utilized was the shortened (KURZ or “K”) version 81 mm mortar. Compact (comparatively) and powerful, this deadly piece of infantry kit was a threat to any Allied formation.
